No space & vacant platforms @ kalyan. Busy junction all the time.
Two tier railway lines as well as station/terminus need to be explored for space starved & facility hungry Mumbai in long run. No. of corridors as well as the terminal capacity shall get almost doubled
Indeed a good decision..... Once 5th & 6th line gets functional on complete stretch of LTT & KYN which is to be extended upto CSMT, more space may be available for smooth run.
Dadar Can also be shifted to Parel and Dadar can be converted into complete Local's Terminus

Space issue is there. Yard remodeling is already planned at KYN for smooth run here
