The incident took place near Thane station and trains were halted at the station. According to the announcements made in the train, trains were stranded due to an issue with the overhead wire issue. However, within 30 minutes, the local trains left from the station and services were resumed. According to Central Railway, “A mentally-disturbed man climbed on the over head wire mast near Thane. Power supply was switched off completely to bring him down safely.” The unidentified man was brought down by 6 pm with the help of fire brigade officials.
