Is there any plan to construct extra PFs here ? And can this station be renamed as Kanpur Junction? It will be beneficial for long distance passengers who doesn't know Govindpuri is in Kanpur. What say guys or any other solution?
pf 3 has been operational since a while.
Kanpur Junction is already a defunct station.
Though it can renamed as Kanpur South as station is located in southern suburb of Kanpur.

It will be more beneficial if 2 more PFs are constructed there then more new trains can be taken there. Jab Kanpur Junction defunct ho chuka hai to naam use krne me koi problem to nhi honi chaahie. But still Kanpur South also works.
BTW where was Kanpur Junction located? Is the station still remains there or completely demolished?
Where was kanpur junction located and why was it abondoned ?? Please share the story..
