Year 2000 me jab ASN-PNBE-MGS line electrification hua to Patna se Howrah ke liye Shatabdi Exp chali thi ECR ki aur 3yrs baad KIR se PNBE ke kiye Jan Shatabdi Exp chali thi NFR ki..
Patna Shatabdi me pax nahi mil rahe the 4yrs tak loss me chali same way me Katihar Jan Shatabdi me pax nahin mil rahe the as us time JS wala concept fully reserved category ka tha aaj ke Kashi Janshatabdi ya DDN-KGM JS type GS nahi hota tha.....

Finally IR ne decide kiya ki PATNA Shatabdi ko JS bana diya jaye aur KIR JS ko ICE..
KIR JS ka rake ECR ko transfer kiya gaya .. starting me bahut chhota sa rake tha 12024/23 as wo rake KIR JS ka tha.. ek AC Chair Car aur 8-9 caoch 2S with 2 SLR
