** With departure of ex-speaker Madam Sumitra Mahajan from parliament, the projects related to Indore region has practically moved to back burner.
** Indore MP has rightly emphasized the need to speed up Indore-Dhar-Dahod, but IR seems to be giving more emphasis on Chottaudepur-Dhar project and a significant portion has already been commissioned. accordingly IR need to focus attention on Dhar-Indore leg of Dahod-Indore project so that the Chottaudepur-Dhar-Indore new line connectivity is established at the earliest.
** Indore-Dewas section of Indore-Ujjain doubling needs to be completed on priority i.e. work from

Indore end needs to be prioritised, where as actually work is going fast from Ujjain end.
** Indore-Mumbai HST(bullet) train demand seems to be too early. Keeping in view the poor patronage of Mumbai-Indore Duronto (just Bi weekly), traffic between IND & MUM may not be enough for a bullet train project.
** Fast connectivity is required from Indore to Mumbai, better option should be to go for a new line from Indore-Malegaon-Nashik-Mumbai fit for 160kmph train operation which can be accomplished at reasonable cost. Mumbai-Indore can be done in about 5-7 hrs by 160kmph ac trains, and in about 6-8 hrs by non ac 130kmph LHB trains. Same line can be used for operating container trains from Indore/Pithampur to JNPT

Also speaking on Indb - Ujn line totally agree with you the work to be fast paced from INDB end instead of UJN end, in the meantime there is an alternative for INDB-UJN travel time reduction.
The INDB-UJN line via FTD to opened soon for passenger trains which got opened for freight trains on 1st march 2021 from this line INDB to UJN or UJN - INDB can be reached in 1 to 1hr15mins max because from this line the distance is 62 km only.
