Really Great Achievement. Long Wait finally finished. Congratulations to Entire Team involved. Really proud of You. Hope Pune-Miraj and Miraj-Hubli Electrification work gets completed at the earliest. And we see Pune to Hubli Electrified Route.
Kolhapur: An electric locomotive test was conducted today from Kolhapur to Miraj. This is a historic day for mirage. In 1891, the POP (coal engine) first came into the Mirage. Then in 1971 the diesel engine came into the Mirage station. The electric engine is set to arrive in Mirage in 2019.
During the Pune-Miraj Londha, work on double-digitization and electrification was in progress and the Railway Passenger Army and Railway Travel Organization had supported it. This work has got its true form today.
