What is ES? 12 Answers What is ES? ISLAND EXP COACH POSITION SLR - UR - A1 - A2 - B1 - B2 - UR - S11...S1 - UR - SLR *THATKAL COACH EXTRA I dont think there is any extra tatkal in any train-only tatkal berths are kept seperately and allotetd is there a way to check the coach positions - i mean is this available any where on the internet? but an extra sleeper coach sometimes attached to the rear mainly weekends and holiday seasons That is extra sleeper marked as ES. If from Engine first comes A1 and than A2, logically, S1 should come first and than S2------S11 (I do not dispute your information but if possible, please reconfirm). *** It is sure that for Tatkal, extra coaches are not attached to any of the IR trains (it was a practice in the start). When charting is done, in a number of trains, the coach... more... Sir, Your opinion about the no extra coach for thatkal may be right but the coach position I mentioned is right. A1 comes third and a UR seen after the four AC coaches. Then comes S11-S1. It is always arranged like that... I am saying this as Iam a regular passenger from ERN to KJM. Sir, Thanks a lot, pls. In 6315 sbc-kcvl exp also this type of irregular arrangement is sometimes seen. In some days S1-S11-B2-B1-B3-A1 seen. One day instead of B3, it was written AS1!!! Old style. Also B1 was a NE coach on that day! May I know what is ES??? Extra Sleeper-that is it is an extra coach atatched to clear the wait list which otherwise wont be in that rake Thanks for the info... |
