every luggage needs to be packed properly using corrugated paper, polythene cover, or the respective cartons. after packing you have to put them in jute sac(bori) and stitch it properly, because in the platform the porters charge huge amount to do this much of stitching only.
Package whose width is more than 110cms (can happen for washing machine and >1.5T AC & Fridge)will be charge as per volumetric measures which is almost 1.5 times more than had they been charged according to normal weight.
