By scholarships I meant scholarships for the economically backward class not the relaxation in fess given to SC/ST candidates

Infrastructure and rented shops are not even the secondary sources for income and should be given the least priority as of now if all that money was invested into track upgradation or any other technical upgrades it would have better, since many years we have only one 160MPS section i.e TKD to AGC. If all this money was invested for 160MPS upgradation of any other section it would have been way better.

100% agree. They could have increased the frequency of SRC MAS AC Exp but actually they haven’t increased a single coach for years and instead are reducing sleepers in huge numbers in existing trains. There is a scope of introducing new AC trains but most importantly every major route of Indian railways already have an existing fully AC trains apart from Rajdhanis if those existing AC trains runs with full length and increased frequency there is no need to change the compositions of any other trains.

Already people are preferring flights between metro cities and I highly doubt that bullet train would be a success either.
But one thing is for sure that rake standardisation ke chakkar mein log aur railways kahi ke nahi rahenge i.e no relevant profit and no service to the people
