If any Duronto train is extended to some other station with stoppages then it should be converted to a SF or mail/express, so that it can be really helpful for the common man. Otherwise the original concept of Duronto is compromised.

That is exactly what I mean. Those trains which are already successful, they should not be extended. I am not much in favor of extension of trains unless it is running empty or less patronized.

I dont agree with the diversion of SGNR-UMB passenger via HMH. It will become useless train for SGNR ppl. Already lost SGNR-NED (for one day) and Toofan. Besides Railways is not going to start any more passenger trains soon enough. So it would have been wiser had you demanded a new passenger train between Anoopgarh - BTI via SOG and HMH. This way one long pending demand of APH ppl would have been met.
