This is one of the dirtiest Sampark Kranti i have boarded on 5th June from Hz Hazrat Nizamuddin till Yeshwanthapur, I was with my family in 3AC and as the train proceeded towards its destination the train started getting dirtier with all kind of filth from chips wrappers to tea cups, and till last there was no cleaning staff available to clean, toilets were full shits as the automatic exit system in toilets were not working, toilets were stinking like hell and there were no one to listen, when i demanded the complaint book i was denied by giving silly reasons. so my dear fellow passengers be ready to embrace the filth and stinks.

Beware Passengers catering people are not disclosing the actual menu that is provided by the railways which costs Rs50/- only but instead the say menu is for Rs 102/-. These catering people are making money from passengers ignorance about this menu rate. Rs 50/- meal is called standard or Saada meal and contains "Dal,Chawal,Roti,Sabji,water" and Rs 100/- Meal is called Special and it contains " Dal,chawal,Roti and one worst special sabji", I do not think it is worth paying Rs 100/- , Veg noodles is worst for Rs 40/- you feel like puking after eating it.
So my advise carry your own food and have a safe and healthy journey " this was my experience on 5th June journey in this train"....

Duronto and Rajdhani are elite class trains, and this kind of trains should not have RAC quota, because one pay's the full fare but still share the side berth,it should either be confirmed or not confirmed and not in between, by having RAC in final listing passenger is a the mercy of the TTE, you have to run after him or else he will sell the vacant seat if any is available.
I have suffered similar situation in my last journey to Pune and back to delhi. I went to pune by Sampark kranti(12630) and believe me i have to run after TTE to confirm my RAC in one Coach and that too after paying for his chai-pani.

Well it is an personal choice but imagine the pain you suffer when you have to travel for 28-30 hrs journey and you have some near and dear one with you, on my return journey there was a couple who had 1 RAC and 1 WL in same PNR imagine there plight of the couple. If not for rac , my wl tkt will get cancelled and i will look for some another mean

"Beware" the catering people are not disclosing the menu and the rate that is provided by the RAILWAY/IRCTC for a standard meal i.e DAL,CHAWAL,ROTI, SUBJI and WATER with pickel and CURD is Rs 50/=, where as these guys are asking RS 100 with a menu of their choice, in train we have food just to cut the hunger not to enjoy the family lunch/dinner.
also the chai and coffee is Flat Rs 10/- where as IRCTC rates is Rs 7/=, water bottle is sold at RS 20 /= where as in platform it is Rs 15/=, this is an open loot going on and no one is there to protest it.
