Infrastructural Development has only turned out to be a buzzword. Not much is transpiring in reality. The health of the Indian Economy is getting a setback for lack of all round growth. More is allocated to places which already have enough. There is an unnatural imbalance. For a vibrant economy all sectors and all sections need to grow uniformly. The step motherly attitude of the people at the helm must change. The pity is that not much has been done in Odisha even after 65 years of Independence despite enough scope for mining and agriculture. It has been a victim of politics and has turned out to be a forlorn part of the country. I suppose that Guided representation backed by proper economic survey and viability report may become an eye opener to the decision makers. Growth Reduces Resentment.

The Daily Train running between Jammu and Rourkela (T.Nos 18109/18110) may be extended up to Puri for persons who seek pilgrimage and would connect the Himalayan Range and the Sea Coast. It may also serve for deployment of forces at the hour of need.

For a journey of 2100 + 500 Kms average 3 to 4 hours delay is not a big deal; the other benefits as mentioned earlier lay heavily for the small loss. Delays may not be so one day, let's be optimistic.

The Southern part of Odisha is not as densely rail-networked as Rest of India. It is one of the most neglected part of India. If it is meticulously connected from Brahmapur to Raipur via Titlagarh then it can serve to make great inroads into Central India for carriage of goods and passengers, a ventilating access from Central India Region to the Bay Of Bengal, (harbour - Gopalpur Port) and a useful link across the country to the Arabian Sea.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
