Coimbatore Duronto express it was announced in railway budget in 2010 the timing for 12243 MAS-CBE in 6 hours 30 minutes and return direction 12244 in 6 hours 40minutes. But when this was introduced MAS-CBE in 6hours 40 minutes and in return direction CBE-MAS in 6.45 minutes.Due to many time changes and poor patronage etc... now it running from 12243 MAS-CBE as shatabdi express in 7 hours with average speed of 70 KMPH and in return direction 6 hours 55 minutes with average speed of 71 KMPH.when it compare with parallel run train 12675 kovai express with MAS-CBE in 7 hours 30 minutes with average speed of 66KMPH and return direction 12676 kovai express from CBE-MAS in 7 hours 30 minutes with average speed of 66KMPH.only 30 minutes is difference between two train.early in late 90 MAS -CBE has shatabdi with run time of 6 hours in both direction.the early...

running shatabdi is fasten than that of 12243/12244 shatabdi.so i request SR to speed up with run time of 12243/12244 in 6 hours 30 minutes then it has 1 hour time difference between kovai express so many people will prefer for this train.you can compare MAS-SBC shatabdi has 1 hour time difference with rest of train that run from MAS-SBC and vice versa. MAS-CBE has LHB coaches so it can speed for better connectivity to people of coimbatore and with good quality of food.
