**Common people's chariot**
Shatabdi, Gatiman, Tejas- They are definitely a step forward to the future, but common people still connect themselves more with Intercity Express Trains cause they are cheaper, fast enough and allow unreserved passengers. Also sometimes they play significant roles in carrying tourists. So which of these routes you would like to see an ICE running on?
Note: The train should have a same day return like Shatabdi/ Jan Shatabdi; thus the journey time at each direction should not exceed 8.5 Hrs.

KOP - PNVL (447 kms) is my choice over the KOP - PUNE as listed by you. The train may start early and reach late in the night at Kolhapur . Undoubtedly, Miraj and Sangli would get better timings than Kolhapur. The afternoon arrival at PUNE and PNVL would give numerous benefits for the passengers from this region and is the need of the hour.

So, here is the travelogue of my another journey of South India, from Chennai Central to Kumta. As you all know we had gone for a friend's marriage reception to Chennai, I had made some plans to visit some places in South India viz RMM, MDU, CAPE etc. I enquired my RF frnds from South like Mr SG Prasad, Ajay Krish and all. They told me the details, but even at that time, I wasn't sure, If I would go or not. As the days passed by I was getting more and more confused. But finally after a small discussion with my parents, I got the green signal to go. They would not had stopped me, but I knew it was my duty to ask them beforehand. Anyways I booked the tkt in TN and then informed them and to my south frnds. I came to know they too are making...

a plan to Konkan Route. I was too much fascinated as I had seen some fantastic views and videos of the same on YouTube. I also told them about my plan as to what places I wanted to visit. They said, on my next visit I can see them. I was a little disheartened, but the joy to see the beauty of Konkan was also there. I was in a total dilemma, but later on I thought, I would surely go to other places next time. So I decided to go with them. We planned for Kaveri Express till Bangalore and then YPR KWR Express to Kumta. We had booked a resort by the seaside, and had plans of visitng the Shravthi River and other sceneries. Some of the tickets were booked in Kaveri Express while me and other few kept our tkt on hold as there were very few seats left, so I thought let it enter RAC or WL so that atleast we get a SLB for RFing purposes.
.
Stay Tuned for more excitements as there are several twists and turns
PS - The train name isn't being added as it would disclose the adventure.
