This is unbelievable!

I'm not sure who was behind this.
But this circuitous route has left only rajdhani and kongu with shortest connectivity from Delhi to Bangalore.

I'm not sure about kurnool. But sbc rajdhani gets good patronage from GWL even though there's a direct flight to blr and the quota has also been increased recently. Ksk with the older route would have given an alternative to the people who couldn't afford rajdhani and could reach Bangalore in less time.
It'd have been best to keep the 12649 on it's older route with 12629 via the current circuitous route with changes in frequency for both the trains and keep the 22685 via pune only.
But IR won't grant...
