When the train gets stops at less priority stations like nagercoil town, kayamkulam, etc why should it skip these stations which are huge revenue generating stations of the state. It is a habit for the railways to avoid the stations of north kerala. Kannur deserves a stop.
വേണാട് കോഴിക്കോടിലേക്ക് നീട്ടിയാലോ???
1972 ൽ ആണ് വേണാട് എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഇപ്പോൾ വേണാട് തിരുവനന്തപുരം മുതൽ ഷൊർണുർ വരെയാണ് സർവീസ് നടത്തുന്നത്.
എറണാകുളം കോട്ടയം തിരുവനന്തപുരം റൂട്ടിൽ ആണ് കൂടുതൽ യാത്രക്കാർ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്‌.
തിരുവനന്തപുരത് നിന്ന് കോഴിക്കോടിലേക്ക് കോട്ടയം വഴി തിരുവനന്തപുരം മംഗലാപുരം എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് 6 .25 ന് എത്തിച്ചേർന്നാൽ പിന്നെയുള്ളതു വൈകിട്ട് 4 .10 ന് എത്തിച്ചേരുന്ന പരശുറാം മാത്രമാണ്. രാവില്ലെയോ, ഉച്ചക്കോ ഇപ്പോള് കോട്ടയത്തു നിന്ന് നേരിട്ട് ട്രെയിൻ ഇല്ല. ഏറനാടും ജനശതാബ്ദിയും ആലപ്പുഴ വഴിയാണ് സർവീസ് നടത്തുന്നത്.

If its extended to clt, it will definitely affect the punctuality of janshatabdi. The proposed time cannot be practical. If that is extended to kannur or kasargod there can be a gain. Else i dont think there will be a gain.

16527/28 നിലവിൽ നീട്ടേണ്ട ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല. മറിച്ചു കണ്ണൂരിൽ നിന്ന് മംഗലാപുരം വഴി പോകുന്ന ട്രെയിനുകൾ സ്വതതന്ത്ര ട്രെയിൻ ആക്കുകയും മൈസൂർ വഴി നിത്യേന ഉള്ള സർവീസ് ആക്കി മാറ്റുകയും വേണം. അത് വഴി സമയലാഭം മാത്രമല്ല കൂടുതൽ യാത്രക്കാരെ ആകർഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. കാർവാറിൽ നിന്ന് വരുന്ന ട്രെയിനിനു വേണ്ടി കാത്തുനിക്കേണ്ട ആവശ്യവും ഇല്ല. അവർക്കു കൂടുതൽ കോച്ചുകൾ ഉള്ള ട്രെയിൻ ലഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
