3.EXTENSION FROM GUWAHATI TO DIBRUGARH.
There are weekly trains from Dibrugarh to Bangalore and Chennai and daily trains to Kolkata and Delhi (including Rajdhani).
Trains to Mumbai, Jaipur/Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jammu andTrivandrum/Ernakulam is also very necessary by extending trains from Guwahati to Dibrugarh atleast once a week on each of the following routes.

This will solve a lot of problems for local transportation for people of small towns where express trains dont halt.
