Had Tambaram to Tirunelveli (12631)trip on 7-OCT-2016 - coach B5.
AC broke down just before Trichy. AC attendants quickly jumped into action and tried to fix issue in under carriage AC components.
Since it is not accessible while train stopped in platform , they used every crossing to get down and access the under carriage from trichy to madurai. But in vain....

with support from technicians in Madurai, they fixed the AC. Showed great responsibility.
Had a chat with AC attendants about their view on LHB's Diesel guzzling EOG cars compared to current ICF coaches.
Their view "When compared to the maintenance cost/burden of current ICF AC coaches and its ICF rakes's tons of batteries,
LHB's EOG Diesel guzzler wont be that bothering....."

Had my first end to end electric loco trip on 2- APR-15 on Nellai express.
TBM -> TEN , reached TEN ON 7.15 am.
No "early morning loco change" saved me from mosquito bites(SL class) in MDU, while waiting for LOCO change which takes 20 to 30 minutes).
Reached Kovilpatti at 6.05 AM and then reached TEN at 7.15 AM.

on 31-DEC-14, KK express did Kovilpatti to TEN in 45 minutes with a WDM-3D loco, no crossings, all green signals.
Return TEN -> TBM, with usual delay of ~40 minutes , reached TBM at 7.00 AM.
Enjoyed WAP-4 acceleration on crossings.
Hope completion of doubling work between Villupuram and Dindigul will greatly improve timings.
