what is Khagra Ghas? Does the name Khagaria come from Khagra Ghas?
Can not say that Khagaria [ खगड़िया ] is named on this Grass which is common wet land grass .

Where was the khalasi/Station master who's duty is to show green flag for all clear(was he standing on one of the doors of two passengers trains).wasn't he watching all this?

I think its fake news that they were trying to stop 12567 at such high speed..Actually most of the victims came Dhamara Ghat by Samastipur-Saharsa Passenger to visit the temple..Samastipur-Saharsa Passenger arrived on PF 1 (track no. 1) and soon came Saharsa-Samastipur Passenger from Saharsa on track no. 3..The middle track is the main line and it was for 12567 as it has no halt there..As soon as Passengers deboarded Samastipur-Saharsa Pass and came on main line,12567 appeared from the curve at high speed and crushed them..Since the number of people were large and there wasnot free space there because of both the passenger trains so most of them failed to clear the middle track in a very short interval of time and hence got crushed..Also when train crossed the curve and crew saw the mob,they applied brakes but it was too late then..
