for example there is no direct train from Lucknow to Tanakpur benefitting NER travellers.

runs Banaras - Dehradun Express Via Lucknow - Hardoi - Roza route...
This Train should be transferred to Lucknow - Aishbagh - Sitapur - Roza section to benefit passengers of Sitapur, Lakhimpur as there are multiple trains passing to Haridwar and Dehradun via Hardoi but no train from SITAPUR.

(This train can't be run via Sitapur - Lakhimpur - Pilibhit - Bareilly section due to loco reversal as NR and NER routes are not connected directly at Bareilly)

TPU and LKO only has one proper rail connectivity, I think. There should be a proper overnight train b/w the two cities starting from LJN/ASH going via STP.

Only weeklies are run from there despite STP being the shorter route. There is the odd outlier like Satyagraha Express but they prefer giving trains via LKO. Sure, if that section gets saturated and it might very well soon, then BUW-STP is always a viable option.
