Senior DCM Aditya Gupta confirmed that the division plans to run a sleeper Vande Bharat from Bareilly. The proposed route is Bareilly-Chandausi-Aligarh-Agra-Gwalior-Jhansi-Bina-Bhopal-Itarsi-Khandwa-Jalgaon-Manmad-Mumbai. Currently, an express train operates on this route. The plan is to run the Vande Bharat train without affecting the timings of other trains. The route might change based on factors like time and other considerations. The distance between Bareilly and Mumbai is approximately 1600 km, making it potentially the first Vande Bharat train to cover such a distance in the country. However, other divisions are also planning to operate long-distance sleeper Vande Bharat trains. A budget of ₹4545 crores has been allocated for the Rishikesh-Karnprayag line. The construction of tunnels through the Himalayas is underway. The 213 km section between Rishikesh and Karnprayag consists only of tunnels, with 171 km already completed. Out of this, 155 km falls under the Moradabad division. The longest tunnel of 15 km is also situated in the Moradabad division. The Railway Minister stated that people will be able to travel to the Char Dham by train by the end of 2026. This route will feature Vista Dome coaches with glass roofs, allowing passengers to enjoy the mountain views.

more... ट्रेनों के कोच कारखानों में बन रहे हैं। बुधवार को रेल मंत्री ने प्रेस वार्ता में स्लीपर वंदे भारत चलाने की बात दोहराई। वरिष्ठ डीसीएम आदित्य गुप्ता ने पुष्टि की कि मंडल बरेली से स्लीपर वंदे भारत चलाने की योजना बना रहा है। इसका प्रस्तावित मार्ग बरेली-चंदौसी-अलीगढ़-आगरा-ग्वालियर-झांसी-बीना-भोपाल-इटारसी-खंडवा-जलगांव-मनमद-मुंबई है। वर्तमान में इस मार्ग पर एक एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन चलती है। योजना यह है कि वंदे भारत ट्रेन को चलाने से अन्य ट्रेनों के समय पर कोई प्रभाव न पड़े। समय और अन्य कारकों को देखते हुए मार्ग बदला जा सकता है। बरेली से मुंबई की दूरी लगभग 1600 किमी है, यह संभावित रूप से देश की पहली वंदे भारत ट्रेन होगी जो इतनी लंबी दूरी तय करेगी। हालांकि, अन्य मंडल भी लंबी दूरी की स्लीपर वंदे भारत ट्रेनें चलाने की योजना बना रहे हैं। ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग लाइन के लिए ₹4545 करोड़ का बजट आवंटित किया गया है। हिमालय में सुरंग बनाने का काम चल रहा है। ऋषिकेश से कर्णप्रयाग के 213 किमी खंड में केवल सुरंगें हैं, जिनमें से 171 किमी पहले ही पूरी हो चुकी हैं। इसमें से 155 किमी मुरादाबाद मंडल का है। 15 किमी की सबसे लंबी सुरंग भी मुरादाबाद मंडल के पास है। रेल मंत्री ने कहा कि 2026 के अंत तक लोग ट्रेन से चार धाम की यात्रा कर सकेंगे। इस मार्ग पर शीशे की छत वाले विस्टा डोम कोच की ट्रेन चलाई जाएगी, जिससे यात्री पर्वतीय दृश्यों का आनंद ले सकेंगे।
