Speed up has nothing to do with electrification. Only when the section is fully double then you have massive speed ups like 2 hours you mentioned...
This train used to have loco change at KCG and section between KCG to Dhone was single double line and huge slag time is given it's just been 3 months that the complete route is electrified and route is completely double Except a portion of 100KM it can be speed up by 1 to 2 hrs
Due to slot issues they have postponed it till further notice,even the extension of Circar express till PDY(24th April) and Mas Madurai express till bodiyyakannur(17th Feb)
Cool I could understand your frustration I don't have time or strength to reply to 3 posts. If SM is decided by the zones and are done in 7 days with RSA better Railway Board is dissolved and guidelines be thrown into trash and zones take their own decisions.
