Almost new tracks are laid in every section slowly bro.
Only thing is Signaling system is not upgraded in some section upto date.

For signalling section and all other necessary works for upgradation needs fund and there is no mention of that kind of fund in pink books ...
However i m living in panipat, and travel in the section a lot.. i didn't see any work regarding this
Even in VBE trials for katra one CCRS said to NR to fence the sub...

urb area and NR is still doing this since then and yet its not completed..
However regarding katra banihal R260 i dont have any info plus if they are using it most probably due to geographical conditions as even they used copper wires for electrification as well in some parts of the USBRL
