Is ER planning to make hwh Station devoid of all terminating trains coming from panskura/SER side, by sending them to terminate at shm/src... Or some genuine construction/remodelling work going on at hwh station/yard?

SER does not own anything in Howrah station. Only some running staffs of SER are at new complex. Reception/despatch of all SER side trains are done by Howrah RRI cabin/ER. So, ER is not preferring to accept so many SER trains at Howrah. SER would have to shift much trains as possible to SHM/SRC in future, hence a dedicated dn flyover line from SEL to SRC is already under construction to accept dn SER trains at SRC smoothly, remodelling of SRC & SHM as a terminal station is also happening.

And

for remodelling at Howrah, 2 new cable stayed bridge is coming up - one at Howrah outer, another near Howrah ELS, construction of 4th line between Howrah & Tikiapara has started as seen by me yesterday, tender released to make PF15 capable to hold 24 coach, a PF16 shall be simultaneously constructed soon dismantling the goods shed beside PF17, it is also expected PF 10,11,12,13 shall be made capable of 24 coach. A metro station is also coming up inside Howrah station complex and the existing goods shed between PF15 & 17 might get relocated somewhere else to provide direct entry/exit path to Metro commuters who wish to access metro without stepping into ticketing zone of Eastern Railways.

Most probably while commissioning of the cable stayed bridge at Howrah a mega block shall be required.Utilising shadow of the mega block...Howrah is expected to get a state of art EI or SSI along with commissioning of Howrah-Tikiapara 4th line along with the under construction platforms .... thats of all upcoming construction around Howrah in near future.

Howrah station comes under ER. SER only uses it. To decongest HWH and make path for adding new trains to HWH, ER and RB has already diverted many trains via Andul-Dankuni route which required LR at HWH. SER is developing SRC, SHM into Terminal to shift some trains from HWH to SHM or SRC. New trains of SER will be started from SRC, SHM Terminals maximum in future except Intercity type trains. SRC-TKPR 4th line connection to HWH New complex started, this will smooth the despatch smooth for SER thus HWH platform vacant soon after a trains completes its run and going to SRC CDO.
can't say but some train can also return back to HWH from SRC/SHM also in

future.
Dankuni Terminal work started by ER. This will allow ER to start new trains from Dankuni. But will SER will also utilise Dankuni Terminal in future is under discussion. If so, then SER will divert some of its trains to Dankuni instead of HWH. Nothing final till now very preliminary stage now

Ser has no stake at hwh that's true.. But shm and src are currently inconvenient for passengers connectivity/location wise devlopment of station facilities comes next.
Hwh is with ER that should not make central and western region connectivity with main Kolkata city suffer.. ER could have waited for 1 year more in doing this

Howrah was best terminal because for example like me I go to NCB sometimes by break Journey like from BBS to HWH in Jan Shatabdi and HWH to NCB SARAIGHAT or else Kamrup Express it was easy to catch the train but if terminal changed to Shalimar then it will be difficult to catch the train and more money will be wasted from going Shalimar station to Howrah .

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
