Due to highly saturated line between dhone-mbnr Duronto won't run in future also.Guntakal to wadi, Secunderabad line upgraded to 130km/hr all trains are running via GTL,wadi to Secunderabad takes time 6 hr or 6:30hr it is same as via Gooty,dhone,Kurnool.Double line will took more than 4 years
In those days when Rajdhani use to route via Dhone, I always wonder what made IR keep up with this route (LR at SC doesn't bother much as LC use to happen for Rake via RC)!!
That Raj never got any precedence & always looped for any train towards KCG/SC & eventually crawled its way to SBC like M/E!!
PS: DRNTO route/frequency extension depends only on E2E traffic!!

GTL is not even 1 train of commercial halt (it's all trains are permanent halt with DURONTO EXP..) & GTL city+SUBURBAN have 4+ lakhs of population... & GTL is 3rd biggest Junction in India and GTL is a Divison in SCR.. its a largest division in SCR.. 1600+ Kms of rly line track.. ( GTL connected route lines DELHI, MUMBAI, CHENNAI, BANGALORE, VASCO & HOWRAH etc... people's come here and changes they train from here.. in GTL jn..
