Dhoswas- Ratlam- Indore-Rau-Mhow– 147.70 KM (ii) Nimarkhedi- Mathela - 45.61 Km.
(iii) Sanawad-Nimarkhedi (11.6 Km)-CRS inspection done on 31.03.2021.
(iv) Fathabad-Ujjain (22.96 Km) –CRS inspection done on 11.02.2021.
Work in progress:-
i) Khandwa Bye Pass cabin to Khandwa (5.00 Km) –Tender for balance work awarded. Work is under progress.
ii) Rau-Mhow doubling (9.50 km ) – Tendering work in progress.
Mhow- Sanawad (84.65 Km ) : Detailed estimate sanctioned by Railway Board vide letter No. 93/W-I/GC/W/12/RTM-MHOW-Part-5 Dtd 05.07.19. Total 208.9 Hect. Forest land and 58.131 Hect.revenue land needs to be acquired. Demand note of Rs 34.12 Cr for forest land and Rs 14.98 Cr for revenue land is received. Land acquisition is under process.
1) Sanawad-Muktiyarbalwada- (26.10 km) The tender for Muktiya Balwada to Sanawad 26.10 Kms are to be done on EPC modules. Work is to be planned on EPC Module. Tender document under preparation.
2) Mhow- MuktiyaBalwada- (58.55 kms) Mhow- Mukhtiara section (58.65km), which will involve grade revision of 1:150 instead of 1:100 will be finalized after finalization of alignment and land acquisition 3) FLS quotation has been done and alignment work with 1 in 150 ruling gradient is in progress.
South Central Railway:-
1.Akola-Akot (43.50 Km) - commissioned.
2.Akot-Amalakhurd (77.43 Km) - Alignment is passing through Melghat tiger Reserve. Detailed Estimate sanctioned for carrying out GC on same alignment. But Forest and wild life clearances not received from Forest department. Work not started.
3. Amalkhurd - Khandwa (54.50 Km). - Work in progress. The track is passing through Reserved forest from Km 644.80 to km.619.80 between Gurhi-Amalakhurd stations. Revised on line application for diversion of forest land of 21.446 HA is submitted to Forest department on 26.05.2021. TDC : March 2023.
