YPR Platform blockers:
1. Chalukya towards Mumbai (0400 to 0630).
2. SUR HAS SF towards Hassan (0700-0800)
3. HAS SUR SF towards SUR (1 hour)

1. Basava towards Mysore (YNK to SBC more than2 hours).
2. Basava towards Bagalkot (1.5 hours between SBC & YNK).
3. MYS KCVL at SBC for more than 1.5 hours
4. LTT CBE for more than 1 hour
5. NZM YPR KSK for more than 1.5 hours in Tumkur line.

If these issues addressed properly, we can get atleast 8 trains into YPR/ SBC during morning 0430 to 0730. For example, ERS BAND SF, KCVL YPR GR, KCVL BAND HS, early arrival of LTT CBE, etc. Standard reply of congestion is not applicable for these trains. There are few more such trains.

If you hold a passing train for more than one hour, definitely you won't have space to originating/ terminating trains.

Basava starts at 1330 at Mysore and give way to Shatabdi and arrive at 1640 at SBC. At 1800, it is still at YNK.
Why can't it start by 1430 from Mysore and reach SBC by 1715 and reach YPR by 1800?
It blocks Mysore Bangalore line as well as platforms at sbc and YPR unnecessarily.
