Complex and New Complex of Howrah station:

➡️Old & New Cabway Fare is Rs.240/- per vehicle including Platform ticket of 1 driver (image attached). Additional Platform ticket(s) shall be available at same counter. Valid for 2 Hours.
*IN CASE ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE OF TRAIN GETS LATE after purchasing ticket, enquire if Late Slip shall be issued from office, to extend the validity of above ticket.

➡️ Flow of Traffic:-
▪️The flow of traffic will be One way only. Vehicles will enter from the Foreshore Road and will leave by the Gate on the Buckland Bridge.
▪️Vehicles are not permitted to enter the cab Road through the Buckland Bridge Gate.

➡️ Control of Road Traffic:-
▪️ Entry to the Cab Road will be controlled by RPF on duty and the exit checked by ticket checking staff.
▪️Wheeled barricades are to be placed on the opposite line of the vehicle booking counter so that traffic gets regulated.
▪️ All the gates will be manned between 04.00 and 00.00 hrs. Between 00.00 to 04.00 hrs , the gate will be closed and locked by the on duty RPF Personnel.

➡️Entry of vehicles on requisite charges.
▪️ Private Cars: - For two hours only, including one driver and one person. In
case of stay beyond the limit of 02 hours, the normal entry fee with the multiple
of 02 hours stay or part thereof will be levied. Two wheelers in Cab Road at
New complex are allowed only.
▪️Taxis, radio cabs such as OLA, UBER etc.:- Maximum period of stay is one hour. Along with Cab Road Ticket, Travel authority/Platform Ticket for all the persons including the driver in the Cab is mandatorily required. In case of detention of Cab beyond the limit of 01 hour, the normal entry fee with the multiple of additional hour or part thereof will be levied.
▪️Facility of obtaining Six monthly/ Annual Cab road Permit, on payment of due tariff exists. Necessary permit will be issued from Commercial Branch/ DRM office/Howrah. However detention beyond scheduled hours shall attract detention charges
▪️ Vehicles of Rama Krishna Mission, Bharat Sevashrama, Gaudiya Mission, Sister of Charity, Newspapers/Catering & Vending Suppliers may also enter Cab Road on payment of 25% of requisite charges on half yearly and yearly
basis. Necessary permit will be issued from Commercial Branch/DRM office/Howrah.

➡️FREE ENTRY of vehicles:-
The following vehicles of dignitaries are authorized to enter inside the Cab Road
at Howrah Station, free of Charge:-
1) President of India.
2) Vice President of India.
3) Governors and Lieutenant Governors.
4) Prime Minister and Other Cabinet Minister. Ministers of State and deputy Minister of Union, chief Minister and Other cabinet Ministers, (Ministers of State and deputy Minister of States, Ministers of State and deputy Minister of Union Territories) and Mayors of Kolkata and Howrah.
5) Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha, Chairman of Legislative Councils in States, Deputy
Speakers of Legislative Councils in States, Deputy Speakers of Legislative Assemblies in States and Union Territories.
6) Chief Justice of India Chief Justice of High Courts.
7) Judges of Hon’ble Supreme Court, Hon’ble High court and equivalent to High Court judges.
8) MPs , MLAs and MLCs while undertaking journey or for attending Railway functions .
9) Chief Secretary & Home Secretary of State Govt.
10) Secretaries to the Govt. Of India.
11) Director General of Police, govt. of W.B.
12) Advocate Generals of states.
13) Car of Army General, Lt. General, Major General, Chief Air Marshal, Air Marshal, Vice Air Marshal.
14) Railways on duty.
15) District magistrate.
16) Superintendent of Police.
17) Superintendent of GRP.
18) Vehicles for emergency services linked directly to Railway working like fire brigade, police investigation,ambulance for sick passengers, breakdown vehicles of electric supplier etc. Vehicles on this count will be permitted only,
when attending to emergency at Howrah station only.

Besides the above list of Permitted vehicles for free entry, special free entry
permit may be allowed by DRM/Howrah in exceptional cases on case to case
basis.

NO OTHER VEHICLES WILL ENTER FREE. ALL OTHER VEHICLES ARE TO
PAY DUE TARIFF
