Respected Atlas monitors,
I would like to bring to your notice regarding some of the inaccuracies observed in the Atlas.
For your convenience, I have even numbered the pics, which I have attached.
None of the pics are my own and the pic credits go to their respective owners.
...

Here are the details:

Pic 1: It is clearly seen that Panchgachia railway station which is situated in between Saharsa and Garh Baruari, on Saharsa- Saraigarh line is undergoing electrification. But in Atlas, the stretch between Saharsa and Garh Baruari is shown as 'Single Diesel Line', while the stretch between Garh Baruari and Saraigarh is shown as a 'Single Blue line undergoing electrification'.
So please update the entire stretch between Saharsa and Saraigarh as a 'Single Blue line undergoing electrification'.

Pic 2: It is clearly seen that Visakhapatnam Port has no sign of electrification. But in the atlas, the line between Visakhapatnam Jn and Visakhapatnam port is shown as a 'Single Electrified Line'.
So please update that line as a 'Single Diesel Line'.

Pic 3: From the pic on the right side, it is seen that single electrifed line CRS had taken place between Haridaspur and Paradeep. But in the Atlas, Haridaspur- Paradeep line is shown as a 'Double Electrified Line'.
So please update that line as a 'Single Electrified Line'.

Pic 4: It is seen that single electrified line CRS has taken place between Karaila Road Jn and Shaktinagar. But in Atlas, the stretch between Karaila Road Jn- Karaila Road Bypass Cabin is shown as 'doubling+ electrification'. While Karaila Road Bypass Cabin- Shaktinagar stretch is shown as 'Double Electrified Line'.
So please update Karaila Road Jn- Shaktinagar stretch as 'Doubling of Single Electrified Line'

Pic 5: During last year, around June month, the old diesel alignment between Takkolam and Arakkonam had been removed from the Atlas.
But during January 2020, when I travelled from Kanchipuram to Tiruttani temple by car, I observed that the old alignment still existed (unfortunately failed to capture the pic).
So please add old Takkolam- Arakkonam line joining east side of Arakkonam (as mentioned in the pic) as 'Single Diesel Line' in the atlas.

Please take a note of all the above points and kindly do the needful.

Thanks & Regards

Yours respectfully,
Karthik

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
