Actually 12259 duronto generally run with inferior occupancy except some festive & definitive season. Many times I ve to travel to delhi in the month of july upto October(mahalaya before durgapuja). I ve seen seat availability with more than 300 vacancy in sdah rajdhani & 400-500 in 12259 duronto on journey date. Maximum availability I ve seen vacancy as high as 516 in September in 12259.
But thats not the case of Pnbe, dbrt, jammu, adi, Bct rajdhanis at that time they run with more than 100 wt list So its some how become under utilised specially 12259/12260 Duronto.

Railways always poltical opportunism takes centrestage; result of which is Introduction of Sealdah Duronto by the then Rail minister though having two daily rajdhanis, now same opportunism is working on diversion of sealdah rajdhani via rph-bgp-jmp. Instead introduction of an new Ghy Raj via mldt bgp/ Katihar-munger will serve better to serve the purpose.
