Presenting my Travelogue for My recent Journey in 12398 Mahabodhi Express.
The day was 16.03.2020 When I have to catch Mahabodhi Express to Prayagraj.
I reached Aligarh Jn a quite early. at 1.30pm scheduled arrival of 12398 was 1.51pm at Aligarh.. Meanwhile waiting for Mahabodhi i saw Tundla Aligarh Memu arriving PF 6 .. and when i just reached Station 12419 Gomti express was departing Aligarh Jn... At around 1.40pm First Announcement for 12398 Was made and after 3-4 consecutive announcements of 12398.. a manual announcement was made regarding the Coach Position...
more... of 12398. (Really Felt Good after listening to CC announcement). So my Coach B2 was behind this time. So now i was waiting for 12398 to come. At 1.51pm CNB WAP7 37141 arrived with Mahabodhi Express making an awesome Honk!!. So i Boarded My coach B2 and train departed Aligarh Jn at 1.55pm with Jerk. So i sat on my Side Lower Berth. And started exploring the scenery in between. We were going good till Hathras Jn with 130kmph speed. After Hathras Jn CNB WAP7 started crawling maybe some TSRs. Again we picked up speed and Continued MPS action. Just before Tundla Jn there was a PSR of 20kmph and slowly we skipped Tundla Jn at exactly 2.45pm some 5 min early.. after Tundla jn WAP7 continued it's Trademark mps action. And we skipped Etawah Jn around 3.45pm.. All was going good. The B2 coach was getting hot due to no curtains present.. So some Co-passengers requested for decreasing AC Temperature. And was further done by the coach attendant.. We were given a RED Signal at Achhalda Outer.
Info about DFC work
Till now i observed the DFC work well enough.. DFC Work between Aligarh and Tundla Jn is already completed and even i saw a freight running on DFC around Barhan Jn. DFC work almost completed b/w TDL and ETW. The Etawah - Bhaupur Stretch is still not completed. Only Poles erected and even missing at some places.. Work is just started in CNB - PRYJ stretch

So we departed Achhalda Outer after 10 min unscheduled halt. So we were 15min late at ULD. Now 130 action was continued. Even when we skipped PNKD train speed was around 120-125kmph. Now we started slowing down and skipped GOY at 100kmph. 12398 Made a halt at GMC.. We were badly chased by 22460 B V Humsafar exp. Which arrived GMC. We departed after a minute halt and Arrived Kanpur Central PF7 (just guessing as there was no PF indicator at CNB!! Can be PF5 also) at 5.33pm with Betwa Express At PF3 maybe.. along with a WAP7. At around 5.45pm 22460 B V Humsafar Arrived CNB with CNB WAP7 37296 as Loco link. At other PF maybe PF4. At 5.51pm we departed CNB.. the scene was like we were departing and 22460 was arriving CNB. We stopped again at PF due to some reasons. At 5.53pm we again departed and CNB WAP7 gave some Good acceleration. So WAP7 started picking up speed after skipping Chandari.. so we were doing 130 constantly till Fatehpur.. and reached Bharwari at 7.34pm and i spotted Chitrakoot - Kanpur Central Intercity which was stationary at Bharwari. After 1 min halt we departed Bharwari and soon picked up MPS. So stretch till PRYJ was just Awesome!!!!! LP was not in mood of decelerating even we skipped Subedarganj at mps!! But the moment he started Decelerating we made to halt at Prayagraj Jn outer :P..
We reached PRYJ Outer at 7.58pm covered BRE-PRYJ stretch of 27km with 124kmph avg speed!!
We were halted for 10 min and then departed and arrived Prayagraj Jn. PF5 at 8.15pm and spotted 14005 Lichhavi Exp arriving PF6.
Trip was Excellent.. Also seen evening gang towards ANVT/NDLS. The Order was as follows

They were delayed due to Section block between Etawah and Tundla.. it was unplanned block.. Railway workers placed a crane on UP line!!! Don't know why.. also there were track replacement work going on both UP and DN lines...
