Klbg and maq are bigger cities than the ones mentioned in the list. For growth of a state seamless connectivity is important, what's the point of having rail network connecting major towns and cities of state when we cannot travel to them. For ex- maq to klbg, dvg to klbg, rc. Bus services are there but it's not everyone s cup of tea. i don't want railways telling me that i can't travel to above mentioned cities because of some reasons. While other states enjoy better intrastate travel. If regionalism is required to bring them under SWR then will go ahead with that.

My vote is NOTA. Explanation is given below
Don't compare situation of Kalaburagi & Mangaluru with Rayadurgam, Kalyanadurgam & Kadiridevarapalli. Both are different. We are not getting proper intra-state trains to Kalaburagi & Mangaluru because of the only reason i.e., they are in different zones. That is not the condition with Rayadurgam, Kalyanadurgam & Kadiridevarapalli. Rayadurgam, Kalyanadurgam & Kadiridevarapalli will stay in SWR (even though they are in Andhra Pradesh) because of their location. But SWR didn't neglect them. Rayadurgam has 2 daily trains and a weekly train to Guntakal Junction (a big station and divisional headquarters of SCR). Rayadurgam has a daily train to it's district headquarters Anantapur. Rayadurgam has a daily & weekly train to Tirupati. Tirupati trains from Rayadurgam

run in different route there by connecting different parts of Andhra Pradesh and Rayadurgam. Rayadurgam has a bright future after completing of Rayadurgam - Tumakuru line. It is too early to talk regarding Kalyanadurgam & Kadiridevarapalli because construction of Rayadurgam - Tumakuru line has not yet completed. There is a proposal of Ballari - Dharmavaram new line. Route of Ballari - Dharmavaram line will start from Kalyanadurgam not Ballari. So Ballari - Dharmavaram line will serve as shortcut for Rayadurgam, Kalyanadurgam people to reach Andhra Pradesh and trains can be introduced in this route after the line is commissioned. Survey of Ballari - Dharmavaram new line has been completed but it is not yet sanctioned

Gulbarga and Mangaluru are their respective status of being corporation (Mahanagar) Cities and obviously ppl of those cities need proper train connection with our state capital and other big towns so for that seamless connection we need them under zone which is occupied in most part of state indirectly it is SWR. If SCR was zone instead of SWR then we would be demanding to get them in SCR so here's no offense on other zones. Regarding Hosur Kuppam Rayadurgam etc etc are these cities actually needed separate zone or are they need to be put into SR and SCoR zones. Even if they shift them what is use as Their locations are such which is not worth to shift them. We having new line Gadag wadi and Ginigera Raichur which is better pre planning due to these lines it makes sense and worth to transfer Hotgi to Raichur part into...

SWR where these new lines play vital roles in these transfer.. Rayadurgam Tumkuru new line again be part of SWR so making only some intermediate part in SCoR is no useful. Hosur line they can think to transfer into SR but again ppl of that places decision is important if they are happy to be connected with Bengaluru which is in SWR instead of Chennai then no use to transfer then to SR.

What do you mean by 'state zone'?
Why can't you people simply consider railway zones and administrative states/ provinces as two different entities which have got nothing to do with one another.
India has got 28 states, this doesn't mean IR should also have 28 zones.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
