I wonder why ppl are blaming zones and divisions for the delay of 12133/ 12134... How can you claim it is intentional? Do you sit on the station to claim that the track was empty but the green signal wasn't given?
First of all can y'all give an exmaple of any train wich travels for nearly 900 Km out of which 750 km are on a single line track and is not delayed on return journey?
Why blame KR not allowing over taking? I sometimes feel they treat all trains equal irrespective...
more... of it is Rajdhani or passenger because they don't allow over takings.
It is a single line track. The train in front has to go and halt at a station and then wait for the train behind to come and over take it. After the behind train overtakes it the originally front train has to wait till the overtaken train reaches the next station. This process takes as little as 30 mins to as much as 90 mins... Try to feel the pain of the passenger sitting in a non ac coach of the train which is being over taken. especially on a hot summer afternoon when the train is at an isolated station without shade or mobile network coverage. I have been through this...
If experience this pain you will agree with KR in not allowing overtaking.
Anyways, The problem for 12133/ 12134 is at MAJN end not CSMT. The best way to solve it is to transfer the PM at MAQ with SR instead of CR. SR can then keep an RSA for it ex MAQ.
Another short term solution is to operate in monsoon schedule with 3 dedicated rakes instead of 2 just like 12052/ 12051 Jan Shatabdi. That will completely eliminate delays in monsoon schedule. I ready to support railfans and NGOs who want to give a written suggestion to CR with this regard.
