if rail track is laid beside existing road till dhanuskodi,chances the very high it will be submerged during high tides,dont how well engineering team will overcome this

I Don't know why the government has taken up revival of Dhanushkodi line. Is there any plan to lay track to Srilanka? It will be sheer wastage of public money with not much passenger traffic in this line. Running of one or two trains a day will not pull passengers from road traffic.

Hello Sir.I have a few points to make.The idea of connecting Dhanushkodi with the Railways is brilliant.Many new opportunities will emerge after thenew station is built.A entire new township will be set up in Dhanushkodi. The indian IT Cyber cell will establish a new centre in Dhanushkodi.Our Navy will be further strengthened.We may establish a Rail link with Sri Lanka also to thwart Chinese designs in that country.Just watch, Dhanushkodi will prosper in development and tourism development.Rameswaram and Dhanuskodi will become a major tourist spot in South India.You will see many benefits happening here.Just mark my words!!!
