But there might be some reserved railway land for few feet in parallel to existing single line, which can be used for doubling ?

There are 2 short stretches between BYPL and Bellandur Road where the track runs right beside the main road. At these two places, the track cuts through some very dense residential/commercial areas too, so doubling will be a real challenge.
But the railways did show some foresight, and at the place where the track crosses the Outer ring road, the railway bridge was constructed in such a way that a second track can be added to it later.

I recently on my way from Srisailam to Pune, we had a changeover from Bus to Train at Secunderabad station. Bus from Srisailam to Hyderabad was running late and when we entered city every signal were adding up to total time by delaying it more to reach JBS bus stand, and we might have missed our train from SC to Pune(Coa-Ltt exp) - 25th Aug. Luckily there was MMTS which came as savior, we got down from bus at Malakpet and took MMTS to reach SC, which hardly took 30 mins, otherwise road traffic would have took at-least 90 mins and we would have missed our train. This is how Suburban train can be useful and can help to reduce road traffic at large extent. MMTS is managed at very well manner, good work SCR(Sc-Hyb-Kcg-Lpi). I hope SWR will follow similar steps from other zone suburban trains and help city to...

Yes agree. There is a railway crossing very close to CV Raman Nagar where apartments run close to the railway track. Also next to Carmelaram station there is a big apartment complex where railway tracks and the apartment is merely separated by a small wall. So there are quite a few stretches like these. Unless and until doubling happens, very difficult to get the suburban network moving.

Just doubling may not be sufficient, dedicated tracks might be required for sub-urban rail network to operate efficiently similar to Chennai, Mumbai.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
