Mr.Piyush Goyal said it will continue as per regular schedule and Defense Ministry cancelled immediately. Haha
IR said that they cancelled it because pak cancelled the train coming from Lahore and with out it there was no use running the link part from Delhi.

One year after conducting this poll, now yesterday pak rail minister has made this clear and out that they intend to cancel this service permanently and asked pax to claim refund from Lahore city railway station counter.
So fate of this service has gone in to indefinite loop now.
