please wait...Show AI ResponseIt is unfortunate to hear that ticket counters at Pala, Kolvihir, and Ashtegaon stations have been closed due to lack of traffic. Moreover, trains will no longer be stopping at these stations starting from December 1st. The decision was taken by the railway authorities due to the low passenger footfall and insufficient ticket sales at these stations. Although the construction of the Amaravati-Narkher line was completed a year ago, only a few selected trains were being operated from these small villages to cater to passenger convenience. However, ticket sales at these stations did not match the expected levels. In order to mitigate the financial losses incurred by the railway department, it was decided to discontinue train stoppages at these stations. Passenger train stoppages at these stations have officially ended on December 1, 2017.
