Today the phrase Super fast train has lost its significance. It has become a tool of IR to charge SF charge and the train any how is given the stipulated 55kmph speed in time table, where as practically it may be always late and maintain a speed lesser than 55kmph.
Gone are the days when SF trains (TN, AP, Geetanjali, Coromandal, SuperExp etc) used to maintain distinctly high avg. speed of 60+ kmph speed against 50kmph of normal express trains on the route.
