the morning of 27th April.. I was being ready for my trip when suddenly @ 0600 My Dad gave appearance... I didn't know that he was also going.. He asked me - ' Kis train se jana hai?' I said - 'BSK'.. Then he asked me to book Ticket for him also.. Since his trip was not planned earlier.. I was worried that would i be getting tickets...? But to my relief there were 152 seats available in Current booking. So i booked one and we got ready soon. We left our home @ 0745 and reached PPTA @ 0830.. We took two tickets till HJP.. Costed 30 Rs.. And went to board 75216 DMU. We got seats ( Sadly not on the window) and we settled. The train was full with daily commuters. It Departed @ 0850 bang on time and srarted to accelerate. I was pretty excited about the New Bridge.. Soon the bridge came in view and it was amazing... It took 6 minutes to cross the bridge. It halted @ PHLG for 3 mins and departed.
It reached Sonpur where it got 95% Empty... Again we were on the Gandak bridge and reached Hajipur.. There, the construction work of PF #4 & 5 is in full swing.. Suddenly 15028 appeared with MGS WAP4... Sadly i was not able to capture it. Me and dad went outside in a hotel and took some refreshments. We came into the station and waited for BSK.. The Don.. It was a bit delayed but it was OK on single section. We got to our seats and settled. There was Scorching heat outside.. But who cares.. It crawled till SEE.. Then picked up speed from there and went on speeding.. But it ain't did MPS till CPR.. Did 80-85... After departing CPR... It did 110 from DDP till CW... After that it slowed and crawles after PCK.. We reached SV and proceeded towards my Village in SUV.
We attended the marriage and our day of return came.. We reached SV @ 1130 and waited.. Vaishali was trolling 12530 and thats why it was delayed by an hour. It came @ 1230 and we boarded the train. The loco link was GD WDM3D. It soon picked up speed and started cruising @ Flat MPS.. It was so hot outside that i have to close my window. Due to this i was not able to capture pics. We waited @ CPR outer because Vaishali occupied our PF..
After Departing CPR it was again running on MPS.. And did so till PMU..
A truly memorable experience.. Then it left the main line and proceeded towards PHLG.. Someone pulled the chain and it came to halt @ PHLG. It Departed after two minutes..
The bridge was mesmerizing again and this time the view from the window seat was amazing. We reached PPTA delayed by some 30 minutes and then proceeded towards home....
