Timings make them less useful now 'cause people just want to sleep after the speed up. There aren't many night owls like us who travel often and the stops are too many for them to quickly grab stuff at the station.
It would need its own crew and increase costs. They shouldn't start unless they're sure the facilities are in top shape. Trains' maintenance has been going down after LHB upgrade, they used to be top-notch during ICF times.
The Vande Bharat Express experience at Nizamuddin Rani Kamplapati is my worst so far, even worse than Anand Vihar Terminal to Ayodhya Vande Bharat. People often complain about the food from Itarsi on the Rewa Vande Bharat.
Jabalpur keeps experimenting, like the Shaan E Bhopal sharing with a train to Nizamuddin 😂, it's stopped now thankfully.
Better to go back to the old standards before LHB and then think about adding extra stuff. Can ditch the hot water idea, most of us bring our own tea and coffee anyways.
