Visakhapatnam Vijayawada Ratnachal Express on arrival at 1230 at Vskp passengers rushing for seat in general. It's a daily scene and all the seats gets filled up at Vskp and Duvvada Anakapalle Tuni will be in standing in all coaches. Samalkot has equal ni.ber passrngers getting down and getting in and the same with RJY. Situation improves from Tadrpalligudem where travellers getdown more. After Ratnachal at 1300 there is no proper train till 1720 Godavari and that veimg totally resetved for Hyderabad. Earlier there is link express with 4 GS at 1500 which is converted and running to Kacheguda in evening. Sane situation in morning from Vijayawada. A new intercity should be introduced parallel to Ratnachal from Guntur/Vijayawada which can be routed via BVRM and return from Vskp at 1615.

I travelled in Ratnachal Express from Visakhapatnam to Tadrpalligudem yesterday. The train had 3 ACC and extra ACC is added. 2 coaches are 2017 make , one coach 2005, another 2007. My coach 2007 make newly POHed and painted Utkarshit livery paint in Jan 2024. The interior ceiling is repainted and side walls cleaned and there are no add-ons or face-lift in amenities provided in cabin. The seats are old resin blue colored and hard as old chair car coaches of ICF. I couldn't see any uplift except paint and water fitting changed in washrooms( flush button is changed, water jet flexible hose is provided at high position that it doesn't reach the desired area). They should replace seats with cushion cloth seats which have 5 yrs life.

I'm SCR speed wise Ratnachal Pinakini Sstavahana and Palnadu need to get LHB rakes first. But Golconda got LHB with 2 rakes I'm which one rake which is alloted for Tunga express. In 2023-24 there is mo production of general chair car coaches and also AC chair LHB coach . ONLY Janmabhoomi was given recently with 2 rakes and that too only 1 ACC
Don't know what I'd the plan of IR in converting intercity express train into LHB. Maybe they want to completely shift to MEMU trains with 24 coaches. which may be in planning stage or convert into Vande Metro with some non AC coaches.
