Hello everyone!
Presenting you one of the exciting moments captured during my journey on-board the Ahmedabad Mehasana MG Intercity Express. This moment was first of a kind capture for me in the recent years. This process of token exchange is one of the great work done by various expertised people in the past, that was used in many sections of IR. However, with the improvement/advancement in technologies, the automatic signalling has taken over in almost all of IR network. This token exchange does exist in a few remote rural stretches of IR in both the meter guage and broad guage network. Sadly this event is soon going to be history. Meter Gauge train morning departure from Ahmedabad : Parallel action with BG Shunter..
Finally i got a chance to undergo a meter gauge train journey after nearly two decades. My earliest memories of MG train travel is nearly 20 years ago in the Hubli-Dharwad and Hubli-Gadag-Guntakal section. Hence I thought i will take up a MG train journey before the whole MG section is wiped off from Indian Railway network. So once I was in Ahmedabad, I decided to take a ride on MG Intercity Express which is one of the quickest MG trains of the ADI MSH section. As we depart ADI, on the adjacent side one can see a cute violet SBI YDM-4#6332 getting ready to depart with the Ahmedabad...
