Took a Fast Track Call Taxi from my home to Chennai Egmore railway station. Paid Rs 140.

My dad, mom and myself took the baggage's and started to go to PF5 to board Pearl City. Last time for KK it was PF4 so it was convenient since no need to take escalator.
While walking through TN SK greeted us. It just entered PF 4 at 06:50 PM.
We went and boarded our A1 coach seat numbers 2, 4 & 6. My sisters 3 years daughter also came with us. She had a narrow escape when a small iron bar kept on top of the AC setup fell down in the path way. The small iron bar was inserted between the doors of AC setup to avoid movement of gates.
Our coach was 2014 made and interior was clean and good. AC mechanic came and checked the cooling effect before train start.
Our coach also had restroom occupancy indicator for each one. Two indicators on each side of the coach with indicator for Western Style or Indian Style.
The bed sheets and towel were wrapped up in a cover. I didn't find towel in KK exp but i travelled in 3rd AC. Do they provide towels only for 2nd AC?
Bed Sheets were washed and pressed but can see coffee spill marks in some of the bed sheets.
I was constantly checking whether TN SK departed but there was no announcement. I told my parents that our train will depart late since TN SK will have to depart first. Time was inching towards my trains departure at 07:15 PM but still TN SK was not in mood to leave Singara Chennai.
At 07:15 sharp my train departed against my prediction. I thought TN SK will make a parallel action and overtake my train. All my prediction went wrong. I thought it will overtake at TBM and then CGL but didn't happen. I went to my SU berth to sleep.

I got up since my train was halted for a long time. I got down and we were at VM and announcement came for the arrival of TN SK. I had a coffee. SK came and departed. A goods trains came and halted at VM from other side. My train departed some 15 Mins after SK left. I went to sleep and when i work up we were at TN outer.

Due to IRCTC there were no vendors after MDU. Even at TN station solo tea shop also closed.

A2 was 2013 made coach and in my return my RAC tickets were confirmed in A2. Both A1 and A2 had bio toilets.

B1, B2, B3 were very old coaches.

No Wi-Fi at Chennai Egmore - Greatly disappointed.
P.S: Photo quality was not good even with iPhone5S. Might be i am not good at taking photo.

A rarely spotted and surprise guest loco from North India, Khanalampura ( KJGY ) WAG7 28753 proceeds towards Chennai Egmore under caution with 14816 Tambaram Bhagat Ki Kothi Humsafar Express and meets speeding 12693 Pearl City Superfast Express to Tuticorin hauled by Royapuram ( RPM ) WAP7 30394. Pearl City Express was running with SWR rake.
