ALL GMs are making people fool. Real research shows 12401/02 Magadh Exp running late more than 4 to 5 hours since 2010 delayed only due to least preference train declared internally by North Central railay, Northern railway and East Central Railway. According to one agency, it punctuality rate -365 & 12391 Shramjeevi Exp earlier running almost RT and punctuality rate was more than 80 % but last 3 months Northern Railway Delhi is not ready to take before 9 am because there is washing line and pit line problem in Delhi hence they took at 9.00 instead of 5 am and send directly to secondary maintenance. Main delay area , Lucknow outer 1 hours to 2 hours and Moradabad =Delhi one hour to 1.30 hrs, total late: 3 hours to 4 hours daily. Poor efficiency of controller and lack Guard and Drivers are mainly responsible for all delayed in Eastern bound...

Instead of having different fares for the same train on the same day, they should have different single fare for the same train on different days. Base fares should be increased upfront for all passengers for high demand dates - e.g. festivals, long holidays, events etc. e.g.
(1) Bangalore Chennai AC3T fare is 650. For Friday evening trains, this fare can go upto 800 for all passengers even if booked 4 months in advance, for Sunday evening trains, this can be 720.

its traffic potential cannot be taken as traffic potential of all routes of IR. IR forgot to take cognizance of this basic fact.
* IR is already charging more for about 30% berths under Tatkaal scheme for last minute passengers, logically flexi fare scheme is unwarranted. Had they gone for flexifare, it should not have been so harsh. putting 90% seats in flexifare is a mockery of normal fares. Atleast 50% of seats should have been sold at normal fare and max. surcharge should be 20-25% and not 50%
* IR, a govt organisation which carry "poor" at 25% of costing want to charge 150%-400% from "middle class" under the name of flexifares and Suvidha/PT is too much. India have very high taxation for a very small % of public, and IR is also trying to follow the same path. It may be noted that even a rich country like France subsidise the TGV HST passengers. Not satisfied with decent profit fron ac classes (in spite of inefficient working), IR want to profiteer from middle class people, most of whom are already severely taxed by Govt.
