Sorry, but this is a very lame argument. Parashuram stops at Nileshwar but skips Manjeshwar and Cheruvathur. Mangala stops at Nileshwar but skips Manjeshwar and Cheruvathur. So do people of those regions come up with the same argument? The reason trains run so slow in Kerala with piss poor average speeds is exactly this! People want trains to stop everywhere. Trains which maintain 60kmph average on a single line section(KR) enter Kerala and run with a 45-50kmph average speed!
And note that Nileshwar has a loopline platform. At least 15 minutes are wasted by a train to slow down, enter the loop, stop, exit and accelerate back again.
