NGP-Wardha double line with third line under construction, is common section of No.3 & No.4 Trunk lines of IR, i.e. NDLS-MAS(N-S) & CSTM-HWH (E-W). This super saturated section need quick augmentation on priority.
Shall the under construction third and the proposed Fourth line be part of the proposed DFC in future?

Welcomes this third and fourth line of Nagpur - Wardha.
Also expedite Akola - Khandwa- Mhow BG conversion with doubling amd electrification to ease the Nagpur North - South connection.
Moreover Gondia to Jabalpur routes (of North West to South ) Gauge conversion have to be completed early with doubling and electrification so as additional North East to South connection .

Then only Nagpur jn traffic pressures can be reduced considerably.
Moreover Diamond crossing of Nagpur of North - South and East - West doubling with electrification are predominant traffic congestion and delayed the operation of trains in all the direction.
So , either North - South doubled Railway line or the East - West doubled Railway lines have to be taken up in the Elevated corridor ,so as to avoid diamond crossings.

Many sections (esp with very heavy freight traffic) and regions not properly represented, has long been neglected and the traffic has gone so high that tripling is required before doubling is completed and quadrupling is required before tripling is completed. NGP-Wardha is not the first case
(1) Durg-BSP-JSG quadrupling sanctioned and tripling is still not completed
(2) BSP-Anuppur-Katni tripling sanctioned before doubling work is completed
