Only DPR of final location survey of Sahjanwa-Dohrighat line has been sent to RB. after approval of RB, land acquisition will start...then construction will start
After saction of DPR of dohrighat, amh, lalganj, bsb line & land acquisition...Both lines will be constructed simultaneously...and will commissioned one after another

Lets see but in recent 10yrs so many lines has been started its breath in eastern UP, some are very good and some are really useless and fund wasting of IR.
Varanasi-Lalganj-Azamgarh-Gorakhpur rail line is very important for overall development of Purvanchal. It will be a game changer for transport of Varanasi, Lalganj, Azamgarh, Mubarakpur, Dohrighat, Bansgaon & Gorakhpur areas. It is not useless & fund wastage.
This line will also transport raw materials & finished products from Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), Sahjanwa to other connected areas Mau, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Azamgarh and Varanasi etc.
