What is this Vox Populi?? 10 Answers What is this Vox Populi?? You should have written this post under HWH - CSTM duronto. Durontos have no commercial stoppages en route. You can request it through Vox populi of IR official website Sorry PUNE - NZM Duronto what is this Vox populi? do tthey say the technical stops of duranto? Go to IR official website. There you will find Vox populi, where you can give your suggestions and comments. Yes Durontos have technical stops only. For eg. HWH - YPR Duronto has technical halts at BBS, North simhachalam, BZA, RU in one direction. And the information of arrival at these technical halts is known to the IR people, since it facilitates crew change, besides cleaning, water filling. In indianrail.gov.in, one can find the Vox Populi section. Here one can put his suggestions/complaints/demands like extension of trains, provision of stoppages, etc @others ; But the Vox Populi section seems to be defunct. You do not get through in posting anything. One more option is that you go to the RTI section on IR website. There you get email ids of all IR/Zonal/Divisional Rly officers and submit your post by email to the concerned officer or to PRO section. Plz move manually the blog post to correct train title - 2263. since the move feature is in the process of being implemented. Thanks. Done. Some notes on "Vox Populi". Vox Populi is an old Latin (Roman) term meaning "voice of the people". Even Italy doesn't use old archaic Roman terms like this!!! Why do we as Indians have to use such old obsolete Latin terms? - it's just funny and ridiculous!!! Even Romans don't care about this!! Even Americans might not know what this phrase means!! We are a country of rich culture, many, many languages, moreover we all know English - and see what IR has done - it goes and puts some obsolete Latin phrase that nobody knows the meaning of!! It's pathetic, funny and ridiculous. What will international tourists think? "There's this old country with a rich heritage that I want to tour, and they are using some obsolete Latin terms in the govt. website"? Why... more... Here in this Forum, such posts are considered as mere info only. Better if such suggestions are also made to Rail Mantralaya - for the expected result. Under RTI section, email -ids of all Rail departments, zones, divisions are available. Thanks for your views and in fact we all need our own words rather than Latin type words. |
