This train shouldn't have been cancelled. It was the lifeline of the working class from Kalaburagi, Yadgir and Raichur. I hope railways restores it some day.

Did you travel by this train till Gadwal? The section had signalling or just, one train system?
2 stations with token and one with signal?

No I did't noticed that, That much knowledge I don't have. (LP needs to have token before entering the section) may be this point is not there.
