There are many quota like ladies, senior citizen, divyang, emergency. For around 10 coaches to be filled completely, the waiting list should be more than 50.
The quota in SL is 18 to SC 18 to Shirdi out of 160.
3AC 299 Shirdi, 103 SC Tatkal 171 out of 720 only 570 is allocated rest alloted to RAC and other quota. Saturday being weekend people need to travel in 3AC to Shirdi otherwise they can't visit. The current availability for today is carried forward to SC and there it's 180avbl in 3AC for today.

Other quotas in 3AC are Sr citizen 40, Physically handicapped 2, Premium tatkal 55. So another 50 allocated to RAC (RAC 100 approx) RAC will confirm fully on every run. If u check how many tatkal and premium tatkal are booked by evening 1800 the rest eill be confirmed with RAC and WL. Saturday being weekend people will book in tatkal to SC (being day journey % of traveller is not high as in night train)but how many will book to Shirdi paying Rs 400 extra per person generally 2-6nos per ticket and travel in a hurry. So most berths wil be left vacant after chart during weekdays unless there is heavy WL. Chances upto WL 50 will conform 100%.
